The Cold Hard Facts Of Earning An Online Income

Well, I have my bullet proof vest on so if anybody wants to take pot shots at me for this article, I'm protected. All kidding aside, this isn't a popular subject. The reason is because we live in a society of instant gratification. This pretty much started the day we opened up our first fast food chain. It's only gotten worse ever since. However, if you really want to earn an income on the Internet, there are some cold hard facts that you better get used to...otherwise you are going to be in for a world of disappointment. This article will lay out a few of those facts.
There are no get rich quick schemes that will ever work. Want to get rich quick? Invest a million dollars in some stock on Wall Street, pray it goes through the roof in a few days, and then sell it. Problem solved. You never have to work a day in your life. Of course you can also lose a million dollars. Oh, what's that you say? You don't have a million dollars to invest? Of well, scratch that idea. As I said, there are no get rich quick schemes that work.
Here's another cold hard fact. There are no guarantees. I'm not talking about guarantees that you'll make a lot of money. I'm talking about that there are no guarantees that you'll make any money at all. It took me five months to make my first $28. Think I wasn't having a hard time? It was brutal. I had no idea what I was doing and the results showed.
Cold fact number three. Making money online is a lot of very hard work. You know all those sales pages you see about these guys who make money when they sleep? Well, what they failed to tell you is that in order to get to that point where they're making money in their sleep, they put in a lot of very long and hard days. I work 14 hour days at times. And yes, I do make money while I sleep, but it didn't come easy. Getting to that point took tons of effort.
These are just a few of the many cold hard facts of earning a living on the Internet. I could go on but the last thing I want to do is bring you down. So I will leave you with this. Making a good living online is very possible. I earned over six figures last year. Yes, I came a long way from those humble beginnings. It took a lot of hard work and dedication. So if this is what you REALLY want to do...be prepared.
